Katherine Kolowicz is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and a member of both the Canadian and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. In 2005, she opened the Tecumseh Naturopathic Clinic with the vision of offering individuals strategies for optimizing health in a relaxing and healthy environment. Katherine received a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in pharmacology and toxicology from the University of Western Ontario. Her interest in natural methods of enhancing wellness and treating ailments led her to pursue a career in Naturopathic Medicine. She completed four years of Naturopathic training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto which included a year of clinical training. With one child of her own, Katherine has a special interest in children’s health, prenatal health, women’s health, digestive concerns and pain management. Katherine has completed additional training in perinatal health, pediatrics, Traditional Chinese Medicine and is certified in facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
JaniceJanice Davie, BHSc, ND
Naturopathic Doctor
Janice Davie is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a commitment to educating and empowering her patients to make healthy lifestyle choices for the promotion of health and the prevention of disease. Janice is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours degree. Her passion for health promotion and her desire to educate and motivate people towards healthy living lead Janice to a career in naturopathic medicine. Following four years of intensive study, including a one year clinical internship, Janice graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Janice has also completed additional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Environmental Medicine, Herbal Medicine and is certified in the treatment of Wilson’s Temperature Syndrome. Janice is an active member of both the Canadian and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Deanna Deanna Gerard, RMT

Deanna graduated from the Canadian College of Health, Science and Technology in Windsor in 2007 and began working at the Tecumseh Naturopathic Clinic in April 2007. She treats clients with various health and stress related issues with a special interest in deep tissue massage and fascial related work.

Emily is a LaSalle native and has always had a desire to work in the health care field. She graduated from the Canadian College of Health Science and Technology in June 2008, completed her registration exams and began her own practice that following September. Emily enjoys working with diverse clientele and their individual needs. Facilitating her clients to healthier heights is just one of the benefits she enjoys of her massage therapy career!
Sarah Durocher, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Sarah has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist since July 2010. She has completed additional training in deep tissue massage and soft tissue release. She was trained in myofascial release through the world renowned John F. Barnes. Sarah has also experience with Swedish massage, stress release, migraines, whiplash, arthritis, bursitis, fibromyalgia, sciatica, sports injuries, back and neck pain, pediatrics and pregnancy massage. Depending on the specific needs of the client, Sarah will create a personal treatment plan for each individual to reach and maintain optimum health.

Kate is often the first person you will meet when you come to the Tecumseh Naturopathic Clinic. She is the proud mother of 3 young children and returned to the work force in the spring of 2007 when she joined our clinic. She has previous reception experience in a laboratory setting as well as in family and specialty practice.

Are naturopathic or registered massage therapy services covered by OHIP or insurance?
Currently these services are not covered by OHIP or any of the provincial insurance plans. However, many insurance providers offer some coverage for the visits. Patients should check with their insurance provider to see if they have coverage for the services they are interested in.

Do I need a referral from my medical doctor to see a naturopathic doctor?
No, a referral from a medical doctor is not required to visit a naturopathic doctor.

Do I need to be sick to visit a naturopathic doctor?
No, since the prevention of disease is a key aspect of naturopathic medicine people of all ages with varying levels of health can benefit from seeing a naturopathic doctor.
